Others may claim to made locally, however they are still made in Asia/ China and just assembled locally. Just like most of your home electronics. So it’s a bit late to be getting Xenophobic.

All technology from any brand can fail. There is no brand in the world that guarantee their product will never fail specifications. Not one! And the truth is most solar brands are within such a small margin of difference in performance, you really can’t go wrong. So don’t believe anyone that tells you one brand is better than the other. It’s more likely they get some kind of financial incentive to push that brand. But most consumers still focus on brands. The focus should be on the company that sells the solar because 80% of your problems will come from the company, NOT the brands.

Well as previously mentioned, it’s not the brands they sell. As it’s most likely they are bias because of some incentive to sell that brand over an other. They’re liars and it’s just BS.

• And it’s not by the number of reviews they have, as they all have great reviews. I wonder why???
• And it’s not because they have an NECA, CEC or any other clean energy council certification as they ALL have this.
• And it’s not because they say “we never sub-contract out and only use our own electricians”. Yeah right! No solar business is going to turn away a sale because they’re sparky’s are too busy with other projects. Of course they sub-contract out. And as you may have noticed there is a shortage of tradies. So it’s not like they can click their fingers to add more sparky’s. It’s just a scam comment.

No, not all homes nor businesses should install solar as they may not good return on investment. For example if your power bills are not high enough; it may not be advisable.

It is possible for a solar system to save you up to 80% of your power bills. With a battery up to 100% off your power bills.

There are two ways you can save. 1) By reducing your actual power bills with the use of your solar system. And, 2) the feed-in tariff that your electricity company gives. Shop around for this as it can be as low as 5 cents up to 10, even 20 cents per kilowatt.

Ready for your bubble to be burst? First off solar works well by reducing 70-80% off your power bills just with your own self consumption. Most people don’t realise that over 40% of their weekly power consumption comes just on the weekend. That could be because you’re just lounging around, housecleaning, maintenance or entertaining. Then the other 20 up to 40% comes during the week. So even if you changed nothing, solar you will save at least 60% off your power bills.

Then their is the feed in tariffs the electricity companies give you. This is where some people will try and upsell you to a bigger solar system on the basis you will make more money. 

The problem with this is the electricity companies have and will keep winding back (reducing) what they give in these feed in tariffs for the power you produce.

So contrary to the “experts” and sleezy salespeople, you don’t need to get the most panels that can fit on your roof. That’s more about the solar company getting a bigger government rebate. You heard right. Whenever you see a price quoted, that price is AFTER the solar company has taken the government rebate Off their price. So they claim this from the government – NOT YOU! And the more panels they can sell you, the more money they get from the government. NOT YOU!

Rooftop solar works by turning sunlight into electric power.  The power is first used to meet household consumption, with any surplus exported to the grid for other people to use. So unless you are home all day, you do not need that big system they are selling you.
